Buddy Blazer (バディブレイザー Badibureizā) [Japanese name: Something familiar with flames] is a boss introduced in Super Darius. It is shaped after a seamoth (Pegasidae).

An attack ship built in the form of a Seamoth, which is a rare species among marine lifeforms. Diffusion particle guns are equipped on both wings, and electromagnetically accelerated bullets released from the mouth as its main weapon.
Gameplay[]
Buddy Blazer has a unique attack, in which it shoots small drones forward. When they reach the leftmost portion of the screen, they will open up and start shooting at the player. Thankfully they can be destroyed.
